TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
